English Special: Workshop "I am a person" with Terje Brevik

Hi Impros,

we are hosting an English ITF special with Terje Brevik (Oslo), who is back to facilitate his fun improv workshop “I am a person”.

A character workshop? Yes. A status workshop? Also yes. Fun and playful, too? You bet!

A practical approach to various cool tools and easy ways to improvise instant and unlimited characters for you to play with, and how to play them. The workshop also comes with a few nifty status tricks to make playing these characters even more fun.

You can expect engaging exercises, a friendly facilitator and a lot of learning by playing. The goal is to make character work less work and more play.

Duration: 3 hours

Level: All experience levels welcome. Walk away with valuable insights, no matter your improv experience.

English level: Native or non-native speaker. Both will work and basic English is absolutely fine.

Terje Brevik is a professional improv teacher, performer, producer and community-builder based in Oslo, Norway. He is the founder of Tøyen Impro and the Short Notice Improv Festival (SNIF), as well as Impro Neuf and the Oslo Impro Festival. With over a decade of experience, he has taught and performed across the world.

There is also an opportunity to watch the Snack Machine Show (Susanne & Hauke as duo) right after the workshop, at 19.00-20.00 in the same location.
