About the workshop
Improvisation is not only about techniques - it is also about how we relate to ourselves, our scene partner and the audience. This workshop focuses on the spirit of improvisation rather than its rules.
As performers, we try to appear confident, funny or clever on stage. But the audience doesn't fall in love with perfection - they connect with authenticity.
That's why we love clowns. They show their true feelings. The clown is the one who is laughed at. They are the child within us who longs to be seen, accepted and loved. By giving that child permission to appear on stage, you'll discover a new sense of freedom, playfulness and connection with your audience.
Through clown exercises and improvisation you'll discover how to embrace mistakes, follow your genuine impulses and find joy in simply being yourself. You'll learn how to invite laughter by honestly experiencing the moment.
This workshop is for improvisors, actors, performers, and anyone who wants to feel more present, spontaneous and alive on stage.
